VII. Data processing by us

We process your personal data for the purposes of providing and using our profile on the Platform, in particular for the purpose of

VIII. Data processing under joint responsibility

We process insights data exclusively for the statistical analysis of user behaviour with the aim of learning more about the users of the platform and tailoring our content to the needs and interests of our users in the best possible way. We do not have access to the underlying usage data. Insights data can therefore not be used to draw any conclusions about your person. It is therefore also not possible to link this data to your user account with the respective service provider. The legal basis for the associated processing of your insights data is the safeguarding of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) S. 1 lit. f GDPR), which consist in particular of offering our users optimized content on our social media channels and communicating with them in the best possible way.

We share the personal data we have collected through the Platform internally within the company with the entities responsible for this. Personal data will also be passed on to third parties or disclosed to third parties in the following cases:

  • Data portability: You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.   • Withdrawal of consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time if the processing is based on Art. 6 (1) S. 1 lit. a or Art. 9 (2) lit. a DSGVO beruht.   • Right to object: You have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you that we process on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) S. 1 lit. e or f GDPR), to lodge an objection with effect for the future; this also applies to profiling based on this provision within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 4 GDPR. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

XI. How long will my data be stored?

Unless otherwise stipulated above, the following criteria apply to us for determining the storage period:

  • In the case of consent pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 bed. a GDPR, the data will be stored until you revoke your consent.
  • For pre- and contractual purposes in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 bed. b GDPR, the data will be stored until the termination of the contract.
  • In the case of our overriding legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 bed. f GDPR, the data will be stored until you exercise your right to object in accordance with Art. 21 Abs. 1 GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • In the case of direct marketing pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 bed. f GDPR, the data will be stored until you exercise your right to object in accordance with Art. 21 Abs. 2, 3 GDPR.

Otherwise, personal data will only be stored for as long as there is a legal reason for storing it.
